Airports & Getting Around
Airports
Portland Jetport (PWM) — 7-minute drive from downtown Portland, 20-minute drive to the ceremony site. Mid-sized airport and the most direct way to get to Portland.
Boston Logan Airport (BOS) — About a 2-hour drive depending on traffic. Great option if you are looking for a direct flight from the west coast.
Getting Around
Car Rentals
If you want to explore more of Maine (which we HIGHLY recommend), booking a car in advance is best.
Uber / Lyfts / Taxis
Local transport is plentiful for short downtown rides, getting to the surrounding towns, or getting to/from our wedding venue.
Concord Coachlines Bus (From BOS <> Portland)
This bus costs $32, picks you up from your terminal in Boston, and delivers you to the Portland Transportation Center. Must reserve in advance!

Accomodations - Rentals
AIRBNB / VRBO / VACASA
We highly recommend utilizing these platform if you are looking to room with a larger group or want something more unique/affordable.
Looking to stay in downtown?
West End & East End neighborhoods are great, or Old Port if you want to be in the thick of the cobblestone streets. Apartments & townhouses are more common here.
Want a larger house or a coastal stay?
South Portland & Cape Elizabeth are a short drive to town and where we live.
Pine Point Beach & Higgins Beach have some of the best beachfront properties (20 min drive to Portland, closer to our wedding venue).

Accommodations - Hotels
The Westin Portland Harborview
There are a limited amount of rooms available at a discounted rate at the Westin in downtown Portland.
Please contact Clare or Sarah if interested in a room here (The Westin had to release the block, but our agent will still honor the rate).
Other Hotels
Some other hotels that might do the trick…
The Press Hotel - Historic hotel gone luxury; right on downtown’s Exchange Street. We’ve never stayed here, but Clare’s office overlooks the place, so, naturally, an expert.
Portland Regency Hotel - Cozy, historic hotel amid Old Port. We stayed here once on NYE & Sarah was sad because Covid times caused them to deprive her of their famous Christmas tree. Otherwise, was a delightful stay.
The Francis - West End’s charming 15-room hotel. Have not stayed, but have had their famous Monday night smash burger more than we’d like to admit.
Canopy by Hilton Portland Waterfront - Larger hotel right on Front Street overlooking the fishing docks & popular eateries. Had rooftop drinks here once.
Hampton Inn - Accessible location in town. Have dropped a friend off here once, and the valet attendants were nice.
Higgins Beach Inn - A boutique beachside inn right next to one of Maine’s best surfing beaches. Have free bikes out front & let us park in their lot to surf.
Inn by the Sea - Cape Elizabeth beachfront resort, right at the popular Crescent Beach.
